Alexa Ostolaza is an energetic five-year-old little girl that loves to run around with her dogs, and climb and play at her local playground. Within moments of meeting her, Alexa can light up the room like a ray of sunshine. While you wouldn't know it by simply looking at her, Alexa is alive and well today thanks to technological advances developed though research funded by the March of Dimes. She was born severely premature, 15 weeks early, weighing just 1 lb., 4 oz.
