Vishnu sahasranam found in Mahabarath is a well known version. But, the present one is from "Padma Puran",which is very powerful,for the merit of which was vouch safe by Lord Siva to Parvati.He says, he attained his Mahima by reciting this Vishnu Sahasranam. This mantra contains powerful Bija Mantras.
